Debbie, I know how you feel! This project stumped us for a while. It was like “if we build it…what now?” kind of project. You need to know HOW you’ll spend your time there before you transform it. Good luck on your project, and don’t rush it!

Our backyard has a concrete section in front of a dirt patch that once had grass prior to the addition of our two dogs. I have seen such amazing DIY project ideas for making porches beautiful, but I still haven’t figured out how to make my concrete patch look as amazing. The ideas are slowly coming to me, but I am more into recycled and DIY repairs rather than buying new products. I hope to be more inspired following your site for a while. Thanks for all of the great ideas I have seen so far.
