How exciting! This is still my favorite paint after all of the different attempts at painting my kitchen. The only reason I switched paints in our new house is because I wanted a different color that what DecoArt offered. For water I didn’t use a ratio as much as I eyed it up. I added a small amount of water to make it less thick, more like a cream. I would say 2-3 tablespoons…enough to make it easy to push through the sprayer. So I tested it out on some cardboard to make sure it came out smoothly. It develops a “skin” over the sprayer so be sure to clean that off often.
