Israel: My Trip to the Holyland

|

My departure from Newark came after a long week of training. I spent the entire week in Morristown, NJ. Instead of going home, it only made sense to stay overnight on Saturday. On Sunday hopped the 4:15 p.m. United departure heading to Tel Aviv. We landed in Tel Aviv right in the middle of a busy Monday workday. There, our taxi was waiting for us. My travel partner was an coworker whom I just met the week before, and our a pact to each other was to see Jerusalem on our “free” day (training began on Tuesday). We decided to drop our bags, quickly freshen up…and then navigate our way to Jerusalem.

Western Wall (Wailing Wall) was very moving, and I left a prayer in the wall, too. #travel #Jerusalem #Israel #HolyLand #wanderlust A photo posted by Jeanette L. (@snazzylittlethings) on
