Our budget home improvement journey began in 2012, and our first priority was to enhance the “good bones” that our builders-grade house already offered. Each paycheck we’d invest in quick, inexpensive, yet elegant-looking projects that would improve the value of our home. These are simple projects that beginners could do on a weekend! We taught ourselves – and you can, too! We’ve included our source lists, paint choices, before + after pictures and shortcuts along with lessons learned.
